With Michael working a full time job, me a full time mommy/artist, and both of us doing the farmhouse reno there is not a whole lot of time for romance. We are trying to be intentional, though, in taking little opportunities to stop and share sweet moments. (more…)
Meet Stewart, the large field mouse we found in a dresser.
I got this cool antique dresser for a crazy $35 because all the drawers were falling apart and some hardware was missing. When you use a dresser as a sink you have to cut holes in the drawers or take them out to make room for the pluming. This is why repurposing a broken dresser makes a great vanity for a sink.
I finally snapped today.
After living in a big mess of dirt, insulation, and tools I had a melt down. For a month and a half now our family has been living in a house with no kitchen, an out house like bathroom situation, and ( up until a few days ago) no washer or dryer. When we moved I sold a lot of my hand painted furniture to lighten our load. This made it a little harder when I started nesting in our new place. To solve our end table and toy storage issue I picked up this 70’s beauty from a local thrift shop for $7.
