There is a growing trend in society that allows office staff, college students, and even those out shopping to wear pajamas to their place of work, study, or play. I guess that means we here at Bryarton Farm are very trendy. A Mini Bathroom Make-Over

On the their way home from my grandpa’s 81st birthday party, my parents and sister were able to stop by for a few hours and help with the bathroom situation. As I have said, we have been very humbled by the recent realization that the bathroom we are adding to the farmhouse is something we can’t handle on our own. My family has been so wonderful in helping us every chance they can to try to get the bathroom done before winter comes. (more…)

The chickens aren’t little anymore! They are fully feathered just in time for the cool weather. Although we don’t have eggs yet these cuties are really starting to show their different personalities. When I was pregnant with Camdyn two years ago we lived in Georgia, where Michael’s family lives. It was so fun to see their reaction at Christmas when they found out that their present from us would be their new grand baby. My parents got an exciting Christmas phone call to hear the good news. Now that we live in Kansas and our second child is on the way, we flipped it and told my parents in person and Michael’s parents over the phone. (more…)
