From food prep to family fun a lot happens around our farm table, making the dining room the hub of our home. In the absence of a real kitchen, we converted a vintage bookcase into a kitchenette by simply adding a skirt to hide the microwave, toaster, etc. It is just one of the most recent updates to the dining room. Take a look at what other updates spring has brought to this space.

you have such an eye for detail and beauty in the little aspects of a space that round out the room. I love the soft color palette and the woodsy and green accents!;)
The details really matter to me. I love to create little moments around my home that tell the story of our family. By keeping a similar color palette throughout the farmhouse I achieve two things: 1. Each room seems to flow into the next making my small house feel larger. 2. When I’m itching for a change I can save money by shopping my own home and simply rearranging the pieces I already own. Thanks for your sweet comments Olya! I love that you have an eye for design and want to talk about what you enjoy!
